One of them was Stanley Rubin, a major screenwriter and television producer of the 20th-century. The first-ever winner of an Emmy for television (in 1949), Rubin had this home designed by Richard Frazer in 1956. Now on the market for only the second time, the spot is asking nearly $11 million.
Rubin and his wife, Kathleen Hughes, were a star couple of the ‘Golden Age’ in Hollywood, having both been responsible for some of the era’s biggest hits—him as a producer and her as an actress.
