          Longino Rey Alonso Castillo, alias "Pachito" Alonso, vient d'une famille avec une forte tradition musicale qui s'est propagée de génération en génération. Son père, le compositeur et chanteur Pacho Alonso est une grande figure de l'histoire de la musique cubaine, dans le groupe duquel Ibrahim Ferrer participa comme chanteur.
